Flexible Smart Skin
A student at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) has developed a thin smart skin patch, that can withstand twisting and stretching even under high pressure in the deep ocean. The patch, dubbed Marine Skin, is able to record and monitor a range of environmental factors that are currently vital to the study of marine life. The skin is lighter and more comfortable for marine animals to wear and has been successfully tested on a swimming crab. Learn more about the flexible smart skin at KAUST.
