Engineering Minute – Low Cost Robotic Hand

Low Cost Robotic Hand

Engineers at the Italian Institute of Technology have developed a robotic hand prosthesis that gives users 90% functionality. The hand, dubbed Hannes, has long lasting battery life, a strong grip, and individual finger manipulation, all at a lower cost. The user has the ability to switch between three different styles of grips depending on the situation. Read more about the Hannes low cost robotic hand at AP News.
