Color Blindness Correcting Contacts

Researchers at the University of Birmingham have developed a contact lens that may correct red-green color blindness. The contact uses a special Rhodamine derivative dye, that can absorb specific wavelengths, allowing people to better perceive red and green color spectrum. The team's next focus is on purple-blue color blindness. Read more about these contacts at University of Birmingham.
